Reverb is Hamamatsu city's ultimate hard
rock band. Hamamatsu is well-known in Japan as a center of the vehicle and
musical industry. Yamaha, Honda, Suzuki and Kawai were all companies started
in this city.
Reverb was formed by lead guitarist Yasuhito Tokuda and bass guitarist Yoshiaki
Kondo in 1989. Reverb has had various member changes over the years, with additional
lead Guitarists and female vocalists. After lead singer Toshimi Tsuruta and
drummer Takeshi Kamiya joined up with the original members, Yasuhito and Yoshiaki,
reverb went back to performing live on stage and the group recorded their first
CD entitled Ride in the Wind.
Since the CD there has been one more change, with Mitsuharu Ohishi taking over
the drums. Reverb's members are now Toshimi Tsuruta, Yasuhito Tokuda, Yoshiaki
Kondo and Mitsuharu Ohishi, as seen in their music clip. Reverb has become
stronger and louder than ever before! Reverb's sound includes original straight
hard rock along the lines of old Kiss, UFO, Motley Crue and Led Zeppelin numbers.
The strong point of Reverb is the voice of Toshimi on the middle to high tones.
And you should listen to the cry baby sound of Yasuhito Schenker in Hamamatsu!
Reverb becomes even more alive on stage!
